I would rather take photos of Nick Matwyuk and Lena Rowat slaying white dragons, fluffing pillow lines and riding powder ponies in the mountains, but photographing their wedding on Quadra Island was pretty awesome too! Nick and Lena are perfect for each other, and I wish them the very best.
They are so lucky to have dry beautiful sunshine on their wedding day, in November! It also made my life as the photographer much easier too. Nick and Lena love to ski and climb every weekend, so it was natural that they picked a shoulder season weekend for their wedding. The ceremony has held at Rebecca Spit, and the reception was at the Royal Canadian Legion in Heriot Bay. Fun times at an awesome wedding!
